Secure
yourself while using Credit Card

Sign the signature panel on your Credit Card(s) as soon
as you receive them.
2.
Subscribe
to Credit Statements through email. Limit the use of physical statements.
3.
View
and verify all your credit card statements online and be on the lookout for
unusual charges.
4.
Be
sure your credit card is returned to you after completing a purchase and make
sure that the card that has been returned, is your own. It is safer to
have the card swiped in your presence.
5.
Always
take your charge slips with you and verify the billing amount.
6.
Check
receipts against your online monthly billing statements to verify all your
transactions. Report any unauthorized transactions immediately.
7.
Be
careful while entering your credit card number and other details online.
Provide these details only on a secure webpage. Check
for the padlock icon, on the bottom bar of the browser to ensure that the site
is running in secure mode before you enter sensitive information. Check
credentials of the secure certification by clicking on the padlock symbol. Also check web address in the address bar. It
should start with https:// on a secure webpage. Note
‘s’ in https:// signifying secure
web page.
8.
Keep
a list of all your card numbers and make sure they're in a secure place.
9.
Do
not keep multiple electronic cards in the same partition in the wallet to
prevent damage of the cards
