Remittances from India
Whenever you are need of funds from your NRE / FCNR(B) account you have to send your request to the concerned branch and within no time your account abroad would be credited
The existing regulations permit remittance up to USD 1 million from your NRO account every financial year (April – March)
As per recent liberalization the lock-in-period of 10 years for remittance of sale proceeds of immovable property has been dispensed with but this remittance would be within USD 1 million from NRO account as in the previous point
