SCHEME FOR FINANCING FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FARMERS' GODOWN
It is a farmers' oriented scheme prepared and introduced by our bank in such a manner so as to encourage farmers to construct their own godown depending on the size of land holdings.
The scheme has been prepared on the lines of Rural Godown scheme of NABARD. There is no provision of any kind of subsidy as it is bank's own scheme.
ELIGIBILITY
:
Only
such farmers and group of farmers are eligible having
irrigated land ranging from 3.20 hectares to 11.60
hectares (8 acres to 29 acres) capable of taking atleast 2
crops in a year.
APPLICABLE AREA
:
The
scheme will be applicable to all rural areas as per the defination of NABARD (i.e. having population upto 50,000)
where sufficient production and potential is available.
LOCATION
:
The godown will be constructed on farmer's own land on well
drained site, not liable to flooding and away from a place
likely to be affected by seepage of water.
LOAN AMOUNT
:
85% of
the construction will be allowed as loan under the scheme
(since no subsidy is available). Under the scheme the
minimum loan amount will be Rs.1.50 lacs with a maximum of
Rs.5.60 lacs depending upon the size of godown ranging
from 650 sq.ft. to 2400 sq.ft.
VIABILITY :
The
viability of the scheme for different size of godowns will
be as under :-

The borrower will also be eligible to avail loan against stock of own produce in the godown.
MARGIN:
The farmer's contribution will be 15% only.
REPAYMENT
:
11 years including grace period of one year.
RATE OF INTEREST
:
As per R.B.I. guidelines.
SECURITY
:
Registered mortgage of the entire land holding of the
borrower/borrowers including that on which godown is to be
constructed alongwith the godown constructed thereon.
INSURANCE
:
Insurance will be obtained against all possible risks
including civil riots risk.
SCHEME FOR FINANCING SETTING UP OF AGRI- CLINICS AND AGRI-BUSINESS CENTRES
NABARD has formulated a scheme for financing setting up of agri-clinics and agri-business centres by agricultureal graduates, which we have introduced in our bank.
ELIGIBILITY
:
The scheme is open to
agricultural graduates/graduates
in subject allied to agriculture like horticulture, animal husbandary, forestry, dairy, poultry, sericulture, agricultural engineering and other allied activities.
PROJECT COST
:
The
outer ceiling for the cost of project by an individual is
Rs.10.00 lacs and for a project by group of maximum 5
agricultural graduates would be Rs.50.00 lacs.
MARGIN
:
Minimum margin of 15% will be stipulated in all projects.
SECURITY
:
As per extant norms.
RATE OF INTEREST
:
As
applicable to direct agricultural advances.
